The images were of a realisms surprising!! I love the graphics, the vibrant colors!! However, I find that the story lacked a bit more action and intrique! To all the great fans of the old series and very popular!! Of these series that have marked our childhood!! A classic Ghibli deserves more stars as the theme is pleasant. Only one film prior to his death, it is even more touching than the music is striking. The spinoff is also well worth the detour. A wonderful adventure with a friendship out of the common between a little girl from Laputa, a castle hidden in the clouds and Pazu who does everything to help left to lose life if it is needed. This amazing adventure lasts 2 hours for our pleasure. I don't understand the failure of this film in Japan, in my opinion, every lover of what embodies the films Ghibli will be in it as a culmination of all these emotions that have made the world-renowned studio. It has been for me a new revelation and has shown me that Ghibli could always touch the heart, channeling of pure and sincere emotions and shed tears through a movie is oh-so-brilliantly successful. Finally the music is also a beauty disconcerting, great accuracy and great delicacy in the interpretation and contributes undeniably to the emotional atmosphere of the film. I doubt that it is difficult but we would have been able to learn a few japanese words by watching Sakura =) by-cons I found the VOST fr very well! no lag, it's perfect =) and the booklets are very well summarized! Unlike most commentators who have expressed themselves here, I found no interest in this story a goody-goody of a comforter who speaks. Dialogues are reduced to a minimum, drawings antiquated, and a plot that is believed for a moment that it is complex then it just lack of clarity. As much as I've been sensitive to the wonderful world of spirited away, as I remained completely alien to that of Ponyo, which seems to be speaking only to an audience of toddlers with their sweet mother, who will tell them : "You have seen? It is Ponyo. It is nice Ponyo, huh? And there is a big wave... " in Short, without me.. I have nothing more to say that I love this series (this is why I bought the DVD in order to have them in my collection) regardless of the quality of the DVD which I have yet to discover. The price seems reasonable. This is a classic of the "Magicals Girls" - highly recommended to fans of Manga and to consume without moderation! ^_^very good dvd, good qualitéL'image is perfect, it is what I wanted.
